As an added personal touch, Chef Stupak stepped out of his kitchen to meet the CEO and his team and to explain the vision behind his specialty menu comprised of items not typically found in his East Village location. more support for our Veterans and their families. Now known as the exclusive in-house production team of AVS, Impulse was brought in to once again make this vision come to life. This year, the event took over the entire Pier at which the USS Intrepid is docked as it had quickly outgrown the capacity for the Flight Deck alone which was used last year. While VIP’s still had access to a private viewing of the Flight Deck and the Enterprise shuttle, the entirety of the event took place outdoors with The USS Intrepid and the Hudson River as the backdrop.
The Impulse team transformed the enormous pier into an outdoor adult experience, complete with all white lounge furniture, LED bars (aptly lit in Red, White & Blue), 10 enormous white, peaked cabanas for the title sponsors with day beds and plasma screens displaying a montage of photos from the families that the proceeds of this event help directly. The 150 foot Red Carpet entranceway was lined with 100 uniformed members of the FDNY, 50 of whom began the event by performing with Pipes & Drums leading into the Raising of the Colors, a powerful performance of The Star Spangled Banner and a riveting speech by Retired 4 Star General, Wesley Clark. While thousands of guests were filled with emotion, hope and pride, Impulse then orchestrated an entire large-scale concert performance, with opening act 3rd Eye Blind, followed by headliner artist superstar, Ne-Yo.
From overseeing ticket sales, to coordination of the décor, staffing, guest check in, media presence on the step & repeat and the full scale concert production, there was no detail too large or small to incorporate in an effort to insure that the magnitude of this event was equivalent to the level of commitment AVS has to supporting our Service Members and Veterans and to insure that they “never forget that they will always be remembered as heroes by those they leave at home”.

fundraiser for the Children of Bellevue program at Bellevue Hospital. This event was hosted at Colicchio’s Riverpark Restaurant in The Alexandria Center. 20 other famous Chef’s & Restaurants donated their time and their talent to create a mini food festival within the Restaurant providing attendees with the crème d’la crème of New York’s incredible culinary offerings.
The event not only garners the attention of the culinary world, but hundreds of companies and industries donate thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise, products, silent auction items and even vacations to help to generate more funds for this very worthy cause. With so many active participants donating such valuable assets, there were constantly moving parts to be coordinated and managed and ultimately executed and the Impulse team handled it all. Through weekly calls, meetings and site visits, the Impulse team spent months working with The Children of Bellevue’s Executive Board and the Riverpark staff to ensure a flawlessly timed and seamless event. We are very excited to be an ongoing part of this incredible fundraiser and look forward to making the event even more successful next year!

The Impulse Team was brought in when this event was still in the conceptual phases and worked with our Client to define the vision, research and select an incredible outdoor venue capable of hosting 2,500 attendees, secure a liquor sponsor, staff the event, coordinate all A/V needs, handle all contract negotiations and handle the production of the musical performance and the event as a whole. It was also through our extensive network of industry contacts that we were able to secure Cyndi Lauper’s involvement. As a special Thank You for her participation, the event was geared towards raising awareness for her “True Colors Fund” in an effort to help in her fight to support the rights and respect of the LGBT community.

DU The Math National Scholarship Finalist Event
Making learning fun is something educators, parents and corporations have spent countless time and money on accomplishing and an area in which few have been successful. The school with the most time logged into the interactive software was celebrated by having the finalist event come to them! The top 32 finalists were flown in from all over the country to compete in one of New York’s Landmark Venues, Webster Hall, in front of the students from the winning school, friends and family. On top of this momentous trip and exciting venue, the top 4 finalists were awarded scholarships presented after a performance by pop sensation, Greyson Chance and followed by an additional performance from hip hop artists Mindless Behavior.
Impulse handled all of the coordination and production and worked hand in hand with DimensionU executives to ensure a flawlessly timed and executed event. From handling the venue research & negotiations, coordinating all A/V set ups and technicians, fulfilling hospitality & tech riders for the artists, creating a VIP experience and providing media accommodations, the Impulse team had it all covered and the DimensionU team was able to enjoy every moment of their finalist event. There was no detail over looked or task too small or too large (including getting a baby grand piano up 32 stairs) for the Impulse team to manage. Congratulations DimensionU and to all the finalists!

Mitsui Fudosan America 25-Year Anniversary Event
25 years of Commercial Real Estate Ownership in New York City is no easy feat and certainly a cause for celebration. In honor of this momentous occasion, the executives at Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. invited their most esteemed guests to join them in celebrating, for the first time, in the Lobby of 1251 Avenue of the Americas.

The 30 foot ceilings of the 180 foot grand lobby left Impulse with the major task of utilizing exquisite décor and lighting effects in order to create an ambiance and atmosphere worthy of the occasion. From a full lighting set-up with featured colors, textures and customized company logo lights on the walls, complimented by slow moving lighting effects on the ceiling, tied together with red up- lighting which complimented the existing marble color schemes to designing exotic floral, to the selection of damask linens and finding the perfect four piece jazz ensemble, Impulse was able to take the client’s vision of a classy, impressive event and make it a reality beyond what was believed to be possible.
Beyond the atmosphere and décor, the cuisine for this event was equally as important. Impulse created an impressive multi-cultural menu which incorporated Filet Mignon Carving Stations, Italian Pasta Stations, elaborate Sushi & Sake stations overseen by two Sushi-Masters and an array of passed hors d’oeuvres finished with a delightful selection of passed sweets. The event also featured a premium open bar and Impulse was able to provide all the furniture, props, tables and extras needed to truly transform the lobby into an incredible event venue.
Through weekly meetings with the client, the Impulse Team was able to gain an intense understanding of what was important to Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. and to their tenants, clients and associates. In order to tie everything together, all guests were presented with an incredible parting gift at the conclusion of the event. The Impulse Team had beautiful, custom-made wine boxes created which housed a bottle of the client’s favorite wine, with a custom label featuring a gold etching of the building and commemorating the Anniversary of the event. No detail was overlooked and there was nothing too small or any request too large for the Impulse team. In the end, the event was a huge success and we look forward to joining Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. in their continued celebrations of success with their properties in New York and Internationally!

In order to ensure the satisfaction of our clients and their guests, Impulse created a system to facilitate service for all of the tenants while maintaining order within the high-traffic setting without disrupting anyone’s ability to get to work or to get breakfast. By creating the menu, handling vendor negotiations, designing the layout, providing signage and working with staff on and off site, Impulse was able to create a successful and memorable breakfast for all tenants of 1251 Avenue of the Americas.

Alliance For Veteran Support Charity
This is the 1st Alliance For Veterans Support (AVS) event in honor of the soldiers who bravely protect us each & every day. The AVS decided to make a massive impact and to set a high goal, by striving to raise $1,000,000 to provide support to the families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during combat.

The AVS hired Impulse to produce an A+ production on the USS Intrepid with a special performance by The Roots. Impulse produced all aspects and served as the exclusive event-production company to create, coordinate and execute everything from step and repeat, arrivals, check-in, FOH staffing, decor, staging/lighting & audio (for an official Roots concert), laser shows, VIP cabana creations for 12 title sponsors, video montages showing the families of the wounded Veterans, guest speakers, dozens of fully dressed marines lining the perimeter of the battleship with American flags to their sides, beverage setup, LED furniture setup, and much much more!
This was a spectacle of an event, we helped raise $1,000,000 for an incredible cause, we had the privilege to work with such an incredible organization such as the AVS, we produced a live Roots concert for the 1800 guest attendees, and ultimately helped make this into a night that will never be forgotten.

The festivities took place on Saturday September 17th at Griffin Nightclub, located in New York City's trendy Meatpacking District. Yvette, a saavy and successful business-owner, knows what she likes and is

We worked with Yvette for 6 months developing the theme and vision for the party. The champagne, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were just the beginning. For a woman of such style, class and beauty, this needed to be an"Over-The-Top" production with all the "Bells & Whistles" possible. Impulse hunted down the best cake-making company in New York and worked with them to create a custom 4-foot layered "designer" cake, showcasing the various brands that resemble Yvette as a woman. We enlisted the help of a successful TV producer and talented videographer to choreograph a professional movie trailer to be used as the official event invitation. We worked with mixologists to craft a delicious signature cocktail that tasted amazing while also being aesthetically beautiful. We hired one of NYC's best and most talented DJ's to provide the entertainment and beats of the party. We handled all of the creative and decor, and physically built each and every centerpiece, sourcing props from various places and crafting them together to create stunning, life-sized colorful and gorgeous feather palm trees and illuminated the areas with intimate candle displays. The production was nothing short of spectacular and Yvette was able to celebrate with her loved ones and start her 40's the right way!

"Winnie The Pooh" Themed 1st Birthday
Impulse was hired by a wonderful family to recreate a real-life, Winnie The Pooh themed "100 Acre Woods" experience at their private residency in Long Island, New York, for their son's 1st birthday party. The event was for 50 children and 200 adults, and Impulse needed to create an appropriate atmosphere to cater to both.

For the children, Impulse brought in dozens of props and designed a whole "kiddy" area for the children to play in. This included a bounce house, face painters, photo booths, an enchanted forest, hot dog vendors, cotton candy booths, live Disney characters, balloon sculpting, pin the tale on Eeyore, photographers, videographers, and an arts and crafts drawing area.
For the adults, Impulse created a lounge, dining and club venue for the parents to celebrate in for the duration of the event. From creating a 6000 sq foot tent, to building a dance floor, bringing in incredible lighting and audio equipment, setting up an advanced DJ booth, lining the perimeters with plush banquets and seating, creating LED bars & LED tables, hiring bartenders, designing specialty cocktails, and coordinating catering and service for 200 guests, Impulse produced a high-energy, fun and exciting environment for the adults to celebrate with one another.
